Amwaj Site

the work site out on Amwaj Island, due to be completed middle of next year, but it doesnt really look like it now, the building I have shown here is the Hotel, with two residential towers either side and several hundred villas surrounding.

I should have put him in my suitcase...

The sand storm from the other day from my work window, can normally see really far and all the tall buildings, this came out of no where and the girl I sit next to who is local says she has never seen anything like it, it was even worse than this and hung around for days.

This is where I buy my chicken kababs from, it is quite a big bit of meat (look in the window), they only cost about 1.60 each for little ones.

I am not getting tired of the view yet from my bedroom and lounge room, we had a storm the other night and saw it come over, it was actually good to see some rain...

This is in the middle of a big round about, Muslims believe that there God can not see them commit any sins here and around this area cause of this sculpture, so they have put all the bottle shops around it so they all go hang out here...

One of the most important places on the island, The City Centre mall, where soon the biggest water indoor water park int he middle east will be opening.

Coral Beach, just accross the road where i live. On the right is the restaurant we go to and on the left is the beach (it is not much of a beach) and in the middle is the nightclub at nights...
