KL - Jan 09

Malaysia was a great break before arriving straight back into work, breaks up the flight as well...I stayed in a great hotel, Traders, directly opposite the Petrona's Towers, the view from my room is the last image, the third highest building in the world and the largest twin towers int he world...The first images are of the sky bar by day, it acts as the pool area with the spa above and overlooks the towers, by night it changes into a nice bar with dj's and lounge seating...I was lucky enough to secure a visit to the platform connecting the two towers, also known for in the ending of the movie 'Entrapment'...The towers are just as good to view during the night than the day with a walk around the park...

OZ - Dec 09 / Jan 10

Well most of you know this set, the first is the family all together for the first time in 15 months, was great...The next is a night out with friends, many are missing (I dont know who the two in the front are (sorry Jaq and baines))...the cloudy image is NYE, great, five hours before the countdown looks like the movie Indipendance Day...Mount Eliza beach on a walk with Mum and Dad...Brightong beach, looking at Melbourne from a distance, still one of the best cities in the world...

Bangkok Sky bars - Dec 09

Five hour lay over in Bangkok so thought I would meet some friends and go to the Sky Bar that our comapny designed.
Bar number one, has a long platform that you walk down and head down below to the great bar.

Bar number two is another 10 levels up, has a great mosque type structure that you look back to from the open bar. the Bar hangs over fifty stories in the air, with only a glass railing and not much of a saftey net below. Amazing interior restaurants as well with more bars...

Macau - Dec 09

Macau, Vegas of Asia...I only spent a day there but the architecture was great to see along with the interiors...first image is looking down the glass floor from the tower, you could jump off it but was really expensive, when I return will try for sure...the gold building in the image is the Wynn, well know casino, an old structure but still stands out from the rest...The gold casino is the Lisboa, is meant to be in the shape of a flower (???), the interior is better than the exterior with a really nice lobby...the three colour fasade is the MGM, one of the new buildings of Macau and attracts a lot of people...Macau is split between two islands, the last shot is taken from the side where the Venitian and the newly James Packer building is named 'Crown Casino'. Original...

Hong Kong - Dec 09

My visit to hong Kong, the best part was seeing Emma all grown up and meeting James. Emma got treated (overly treated) to an early Christmas...Katherine and I's favorite place, the night market, was exciting and had some great cheap food...accross the water to the almost complete third tallest building in the world, massive...looking the other way accross the harbour to the Financial Harbour to the large FC1, and the smaller version next to it and the sunsetting through the mountains and buildings...and last, my favorite building in hong kong, the one on the left with the pattern on the facade...
